Check out the growing list of both water bath and pressure canning recipes that make up the bulk of my canning pantry. This works for berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, etc.) and many other fruit (like peaches, figs). If too much headspace is allowed, the food at the top is likely to discolor. This towel setup is nice for two reasons. It’s nice to know you can go to your own pantry for food when there isn’t any on the grocery store shelves. We bring fathers and mothers and kitchen tables, and every meal we have ever eaten.
